Next distraction of the day was down to me as I thought we’d have a break at an aire set in a lovely town with an imposing chateau. This was Villebois-Lavalette, and very lovely it was too, so definitely worth the visit. 

Leaving the town we came across another old favourite shop of ours, Super-U. Whilst we enjoy our Lidl pastries, we do need the occasional visit to Super-U for cakes, and our cake cupboard is now pretty full.
