Chateau Gaillard to Gisors

Next objective after Chateau Gaillard/Les Andelys was Beauvais. I had hoped that a fleeting visit to Gisors en route would suffice, but the large cathedral and castle turned Sophie’s head, and try as I might to plead that we’d never find a parking spot in the town, she managed to find us one, just.

To be fair, Gisors did have some interesting medieval features, a decent cathedral, and Sophie’s favourite, imposing castle ruins.
