You’ll soon discover when touring, or simply looking at a map, that Brittany has no shortage of places with names beginning with ‘Pl’, so having been to Plemet, then Plessala, it amused us to be spending a night on the Brittany coast at Plerin!

Plerin is next to St Brieuc on the north coast of Brittany, and a super free aire at the mouth of the estuary it is too!

We were here last night, Michael has worked all today, in beautiful sunshine with a seascape backdrop, and I suspect (no least being in a prime spot!), we shall spend a second night here! This morning, when various vans moved on, we seized the opportunity to move our van to its current prime location! Front row with only one neighbour! – and full benefit of the sea view! This has been a great little find!

Last night I cooked up a delicious ratatouille based on the superb one we’d eaten at our friends on Friday. It will be repeated by me very soon! Yum!
