Some way into the Gorges du Verdon we reach Trigance which was our resting point for the night.
Up in its elevated position, you approach it via a snaking road in an open landscape. We park up at the free aire and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view from our front window. We get to eat on board with some very fine vistas!
Next morning we had a lovely surprise to see Nigel and Kim roll up in their van! Totally unexpected! We hooked up together (including their dog Macey) and walked through the little hilltop village with its castle hotel.
No boulangerie open, but Kim managed to get some essentials from the epicerie before we sat down in the pretty little square for coffees at the local bar. It was very quaint there by the village fountain.
We said our goodbyes once again and headed off on our separate ways. It had been so nice to see them again. We plan to keep in touch.
