Locronan we found by chance, simply deciding to follow the signpost for it which is one of those brown ones of special interest. I guess there’s a special name for them!
The day we went, and I’ve no idea if just a seasonal thing or what, but car marshals were wanting about 4 Euros for people to park, so we about turned and parked in a free car park just moments away. Needless to say a good few other people did the same!
Locronan is a chocolate box village full of lovely artisan studios and workshops, as well as the usual eateries and gift shops.
I particularly enjoyed watching the glass blower at work. He not surprisingly had a continuous audience. Awesome craft and beautiful wares. So many talented people about!
The antiques shop was like stepping back in time, and so much art and craft work to be seen in all the little galleries, even a chocolate makers shop, a clog makers, a woodcarver/turner and much more!
A great visit!
(They have a paying aire there which must be well used!)
