Canal side at L’Herbinaye and Lock 8 at Guillac afforded us picturesque and peaceful stops to chill out, though ‘chill’ hardly seems the appropriate word bearing in mind the heat!!!

Being August and very good weather, there was no shortage of cyclists and boats passing by.

A few motorhomes were parked up near Lock 8 and undoubtedly some with the intention of staying overnight there, which along with L’Herbinaye, is also a recommended park4night stop.
