Barfleur was a lovely day stop. We parked in the large elongated free car park and walked the few minutes into the little fishing port and village with its significant bit of history, namely where William the Conqueror left France to head to England for the Battle of 1066!
We enjoyed a good lunch and followed that with a leisurely stroll. It certainly is a very pretty little location and wonderfully the sun was shining too!
