Saint Vaast la Hougue was very blustery when we visited. After a bit of an explore on foot we drove just moments out of town to our very pleasant Park4Night spot overlooking the ‘La Tour Hougue’ with the place to ourselves.

Next morning we parked by the citadel and walked as far around the perimeter as we could, unable to visit the tower with it being closed up for the season.
