We spent 2 nights at La Rochelle at this juncture and both evenings linked up with the others for drinks overlooking the marina, and were joined by some fellow British motorhomers which was nice. What’s great about motorhoming is it’s a very sociable thing, but equally you can just as easily keep to yourself. We like a bit of both! 
The second time we headed back into the town was via bike. We all 6 rode our bikes in and had a mini tour around, plus a few more photos taken – but of course! 

   
    
   
   
    
   
The next day we all headed on to Ile de Ré, which is no distance from La Rochelle. We’ve been there before but the others hadn’t, so we were going to make that introduction.
