On to Saint Michel l’Observatoire via Apt, Oppedette and its Gorge

We stopped at the Gorge in Oppedette for a brief peep from their viewing platform, then carried on our journey through the little village of Carinol and on to Saint Michel l’Observatoire that was to be our free overnight venue. 

This stop was extremely scenic with a large panorama ahead of us, with quaint windmill to top it off, and the whole car park to ourselves. There were no motorhome facilities there, but the guidebook had pre-warned us of that, so of course not a problem.
