Vauville and the ‘Route des Caps’ – 1

We drove to the beachside car park at Vauville (though no overnight parking allowed) – likely due to the municipal campsite yards away.

It was windy but not overly cold but threatening rain, so donned my lightweight rain jacket in case! We strolled through the pretty village with its granite properties, walked by the little chateaux with its botanical gardens, saw a bit more of it from the graveyard, walked further through the village and along the chateaux perimeter wall, and popped in to have a peep at its gift shop.

We returned to the van via a stretch of cobbled beach and continued on our journey.
