After a very quiet night, with the rather loud church bells thankfully stopping at 10pm, we decided to make a proper visit to the castle. It was a very pleasant walk right round the elevated castle to reach the entrance.
Given the scale of the building we thought that €8 each wasn’t unreasonable and so did the tour, which was definitely worth the effort.
