We drove over yet another bridge later today that took us into the little town of Selles sur Cher where Michael parked up so that I could hop out and have a look at the chateau from it’s gateway.
On towards little Mennetou sur Cher, a pretty as a picture medieval town. There was a free aire here should we have needed it, but with no added facilities, just the riverside scenic parking, but very nice too!
We in fact had already parked on the street, so didn’t make use of it, but good to know it was there all the same. Had we arrived later, it would have been a lovely scenic free overnighter.
A walk on through the old stone archway took us into this picturesque little place which was absolutely well worth a visit!
We then went on to overnight at Mehun sur Yèvre, with photos to follow tomorrow…
Excellent photographs look forward to the next installment.

Kenny & Tanya
