Malestroit to Gouarec

Next stop was Bon Repos, where Park4night told us we could park along the quiet roadside, adjacent to the canal, with a view of the abbey across the water. We had a large grassy area to enjoy and could see that it was a popular place for cyclists and walkers enjoying the tow path of the Nantes-Brest Canal.

After yet another very peaceful night and a lazy day we thought we’d try out the free aire at Gouarec, that showed up on Park4night, but not in any of our aire guides. It was small but very well laid out, and not overly busy.

One unusual feature of our night there was that of the 5 motorhomes, 2 were solo lady motorhomers. Lone motorhomers are fairly infrequent from our travels, particularly ladies, so 2 in one evening was a first for us.
