Last night, our impromptu and unofficial stop overlooking the reservoir and hills was a great success. Very tranquil and idyllic. It is now an official Park4night stop on their app as we have submitted the details plus photos. At least the next motorhomers to stay there will have the confidence ahead of time to know that it comes highly recommended.
After our usual lazy morning, basically just catching up with stuff, we set course for the village of Molinos. As experienced mountain area drivers, we know that road quality and width can vary significantly, and so we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the roads. Added to this we barely saw another vehicle, which is great when you’re pootling along enjoying the amazing scenery and there’s no-one hassling you to speed up. The scenery was truly spectacular and we had it all virtually to ourselves.
We stopped for an onboard lunch at the lovely little village of Molinos, and then enjoyed a walk around the streets. Their carpark is actually a Park4night spot, and I had in fact been aiming for it the previous night. It would have been a great stopover, but I had other plans for tonight, so we headed off.
Michael was that you puking up in the photograph? (4th photo from the bottom).
